Eric J. Engelhardt is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Representation Specialist with more than thirty-five years of experience navigating complex tax scenarios. A keen student of history, especially the years before, during and after World War II, he draws on that passion and his command of taxation and finance to weave real historical events into high-stakes thrillers that connect the past to the urgent challenges facing today’s world.

He is the author of Below the Bottom Line and The Beijing Gambit, the first two novels in the Bob Stone thriller series. For readers of John Grisham and Daniel Silva, Eric’s novels take on the issues shaping today’s world: the intersection of terrorism, the flow of dark money, geopolitical power plays and global conflict.

Eric lives on Long Island, New York, with his wife Lily, and is the father of three and proud grandfather of seven.
